   • What We Collect: When you use the App to analyse food, the photo you take or upload is sent to our backend server and processed by third-party AI services and a food database API to generate analysis results (e.g. calories and nutrient information).
   • How It Is Used: The photo is used solely for the purpose of providing you with food analysis results. Once the analysis is complete, the data is not retained on our servers.
2. Food Analysis Results
   • Where Stored: All analysis results, including the photo and corresponding scores or nutrient information, are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.
   • How It Is Used: This data remains private and accessible only to you, and it is stored until you manually delete it.

Permissions We Require

To use the App’s core functionality, we request the following permissions:

• Camera Access: To allow you to take photos of food for analysis.
• Gallery Access: To allow you to upload existing photos from your device for analysis.
• Internet Access: To connect to our backend server and third-party APIs for processing and analysis.

The App will not access these features without your explicit permission.

How We Protect Your Data

We are committed to ensuring your data is secure. To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure:

• Photos are only transmitted securely to our backend server and third-party APIs using encryption protocols (e.g., HTTPS).
• No data, including photos or analysis results, is shared with any other parties beyond the processing services necessary to provide the App’s functionality.
• All food analysis data and photos are stored locally on your device and not uploaded to our servers after initial processing.

Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party AI services and a food database API to process your photos and generate analysis results. These services receive your photo temporarily for processing and return the results. We do not share any other user data with these third-party services.

Subscription Management and Performance Analytics

We utilize backend service providers and secure infrastructure platforms, such as RevenueCat, to manage in-app subscriptions, securely process purchase events, and evaluate application performance.

To facilitate these operational and analytical workflows, our systems may process transaction details (including purchase event type, product ID, price, currency, and event timestamps) alongside device and network indicators (such as the Identifier for Vendors [IDFV], IP address, device model, and your app user ID).

This data is used strictly to validate purchases, monitor system stability, analyze general user lifecycle flows, and optimize our first-party operations. This information is processed through secure infrastructure and is never sold to data brokers.

Data Retention

• On Device: All food analysis results and associated photos are stored locally on your device. This data remains until you delete it manually.
• On Our Servers: Photos sent to our backend server are temporarily processed for analysis and are deleted immediately after processing is complete.

Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically targeted toward children under the age of 13. We recommend that parents and guardians supervise their children’s use of the App. If you are under 13, please do not use the App without parental consent.

Your Privacy Choices

• Deleting Data: You can delete food analysis results and photos stored on your device at any time through your device’s file management tools or within the App (if this functionality is provided).
• Permissions: You can manage and revoke the App’s permissions (e.g., camera, gallery) through your device’s settings.
